United Night Out: One Game, One Community, United.

D.C. United has been a strong supporter of the LGBT community. In 2011, they were the first local team and first non-baseball professional club to film an “It Gets Better” video (see below) and this year they are supporting the You Can Play Project:

Saturday, September 15
RFK Memorial Stadium

4:30 PM Tailgating Party (Lot 8)
6:30 PM Stadium Opens, Drink Specials at Champions Club
7:30 PM Kickoff vs. New England Revolution

GLASS and LGBT CSA have secured a block of 25 tickets for $25 each located conveniently by the Champion’s Club.  If you are interested in purchasing tickets through GLASS, please e-mail Jackson Droney at jackson@glasscaucus.org.  LGBT CSA members can reach out to John Blair for tickets at john.blair@mail.house.gov.

The evening includes:

  • Tailgating in Lot 8 starting at 4:30 PM.  GLASS will have a table, tent, and will provide beer.  Refreshment stands and food trucks will be nearby.
  • Happy Hour at Champion’s Club from 6:30 – 7:30 PM.  Drink specials will run during this pregame event near our seating section.
  • T-shirt toss and raffle during the game.
