D.C. United has been a strong supporter of the LGBT community. In 2011, they were the first local team and first non-baseball professional club to film an “It Gets Better” video (see below) and this year they are supporting the You Can Play Project:

GLASS and LGBT CSA have secured a block of 25 tickets for $25 each located conveniently by the Champion’s Club. The evening includes:
- Tailgating in Lot 8 starting at 4:30 PM. GLASS will have a table, tent, and will provide beer. Refreshment stands and food trucks will be nearby.
- Happy Hour at Champion’s Club from 6:30 – 7:30 PM. Drink specials will run during this pregame event near our seating section.
- T-shirt toss and raffle during the game.
