LC Globe Event: “Dear Lenny…”
Library of Congress Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual or Transgender Employees (LC GLOBE) and the Library of Congress Music Division present…
“Dear Lenny…”
Correspondence and Gay History in the Leonard Bernstein Collection.
Leonard Bernstein (1918-1990) gained worldwide acclaim as a prolific composer and skilled conductor. The Bernstein estate recently donated correspondence that had been sealed until now, much of it surprisingly candid and revealing several aspects of gay history. Please join GLOBE and Mark Horowitz, Senior Music Specialist, Music Division for an exciting discussion of these letters.
