Senate Intern Brown Bag Lunch with Senator Jeff Merkley

In celebration of National Coming Out Month, GLASS was proud to welcome Senator Jeff Merkley on October 12 for a brown bag lunch conversation. Senator Merkley was kind enough to take time out of his schedule to share his personal experience as a Senate intern for the late Senator Mark Hatfield, as well as his efforts for the advancement of LGBT equality.  The brown bag included open discussion for questions and conversation for all Senate interns.
